How it works

  1. Step 1

    Upload a photo

High contrast helps most here. Pop art posterises — it throws the middle tones away — so a strongly lit face gives it far more to work with than a flat one.

  2. Step 2

    Pick the print

Screen print, four-panel repeat, halftone comic, neon, duotone, cut paper, risograph, or an op-art background.

  3. Step 3

    Print it

High resolution and unwatermarked, which is the point — this is a style people frame.

Frequently asked questions

How do I turn a photo into pop art?
Upload a photo and choose a print style. The AI posterises the image down to a few flat colours and adds the printing artefacts — halftone dots, heavy outlines, slight misregistration — that make it read as a print rather than a filter.
What makes a good pop art photo?
Strong directional light and a clear silhouette. The style reduces everything to a handful of tones, so contrast is worth more than resolution.
Can I get the four-panel version?
Yes — it is its own style in the list. The same portrait repeats four times, each quarter in a different flat colourway.
Are these in the style of a particular artist?
No. They are built from the printing techniques themselves — screen printing, Ben-Day halftone, risograph, duotone — rather than from any one artist's work. That is both the accurate way to describe them and the reason we do not name anyone.
Whose photo may I upload?
Your own, or someone's who has given you permission. Uploading a photo of a person who has not consented is not allowed under our acceptable use policy.
What does it cost?
Each generation comes off your Reelina credit balance and the exact cost is shown before you press Generate. One balance covers every model in the workspace.
Is it free?
No — Reelina runs on paid credits. We show what a generation costs before you run it rather than advertising a free tier we do not have.
What happens to my photo?
It is used only to make your result. Creations are private by default, and everything is deleted seven days after it is generated.
