Why one render and not a chain
Running each fix as its own edit means every pass redraws the previous output, and after three or four passes the face has quietly drifted into someone else's. Retake merges everything you ticked into one instruction and renders once. That is the whole reason the result still looks like you.

Will it still look like me?
That is what the presets are built around. Every one of them carries an instruction to hold your identity, facial structure and skin texture, and to leave the pose, framing, clothing and lighting as they were. Only what you ticked is allowed to change.
Why do eight fixes cost the same as one?
Because they are one render. The presets you tick are merged into a single instruction and sent once, so there is one generation to pay for no matter how many boxes you tick.
What kind of photo works best?
A reasonably sharp photo where the face is clearly visible and not too small in the frame. Heavy motion blur, very low light or a face turned away give the model less to hold on to, and the result is less faithful.
Can it remove someone from the background?
Yes. There are presets for removing other people, clearing background clutter, blurring what is behind you and swapping in a studio backdrop. They can be combined with the retouches on the person in the same render.
How much does it cost?
Retake runs on coins, and the price is shown on the button before you run anything. A subscription refills your balance each period and coin packs top it up. Nothing is charged without the number being on screen first.
What happens to my photo?
It is used to run the edit you asked for and nothing else. Creations are private by default and are deleted a week after they are made, so download anything you want to keep.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes — Retake is in the Reelina app for iPhone and Android, in the side menu, with the same presets and the same one-render behaviour.
